BMW: the new F10 M5 MotoGP Safety Car

BMW M5 F10The new BMW M5 F10, significantly altered for the occasion, was chosen to be the next safety car in Moto GP.

To each his own area. If the Mercedes AMG SLS is currently the official safety car for Formula 1, this role will be filled by the new BMW M5 F10 in MotoGP. The newest of the Bavarian manufacturer has indeed been chosen to intervene if necessary on the circuit. It replaces another model of the brand, the BMW M coupe 1.

For the occasion, the F10 M5 will be reviewed and corrected. With, among other changes, a new front spoiler, boot spoiler in carbon, an Akrapovic exhaust, black rims with 20-inch Pirelli P-Zero, and of course, a boat flashing. Inside, to respect the rules of competition, racing bucket seats were installed.

However, one should find the famous 4.4-liter V8 bi-turbo develops 560 horsepower. Except that this version safety car will weight down (we do not yet know how many kilos), which should give more juice to the meteor.
