Jaguar returns to Le Mans LMP1 racer

Jaguar XJRFirst Porsche and Toyota and Jaguar is also now back in the 24 hours of Le Mans? What’s happening?

Jaguar is now owned by Tata group and would love to show her teeth in the war of attrition that is Le Mans. There seems at present to evaluate whether and when a return to the legendary racing possible in the LMP1 class.

Jaguar has a decent history at Le Mans. Their first victory was in 1951 and took them a total of seven victories, the last in 1990 with the XJR-12. There was also Dutch success, Jan Lammers won in 1988 aboard the Silk Cut Jaguar XJR-9LM. In 1991, drove for Jaguar last part in the LMP1 class, but has since then have participated in other classes , but there was not a battle for the overall profit.Jaguar XJR
