Lexus: LS 600h Landaulet special for the wedding of the Prince of Monaco

Lexus LS600Lexus has unveiled the special version of the LS 600h Landaulet that will transport the Prince Albert of Monaco and Charlene Wittstock at their marriage on July 2.

Last May, Lexus has become the official automotive supplier Sovereign Prince of Monaco in place of BMW. Logically, Albert of Monaco also has confidence in the brand to lead him and his future wife, Charlene Wittstock, the future royal wedding on July 2. If guests will board provided by hybrid Lexus limousine, the two “stars” of the day will be transported in a special version of the LS 600h Landaulet.

Visible in the pictures and video below, this sedan discoverable asked over 2000 hours at the famous Belgian coachbuilder Carat Duchatelet, working closely with Lexus engineers based in Brussels. The model has indeed been dismantled to add items to kevlar and carbon fiber. Painting and polishing were also performed, before reassembling the body, for a car color Midnight Blue. The particularity of this LS 600h Landaulet is obviously a transparent roof (made of a lightweight polycarbonate monocoque 26 kg only) to see the outside passengers in the back.

The machine, 100% electric hybrid engine with a horsepower of 520, will be displayed after the wedding and the Media Center at the Oceanographic Museum.Lexus LS600
