You have to want it to have …. In 11 days, 17 hours and 22 minutes from 14 different countries, such a distance. Everything for the PR? A team of Germans with a very long haul, led by Rainer Zietlow began on July 2 to the Road Trip to End All Road Trips in the southernmost tip of Argentina and conducted “Sea Germans” on two continents at the end in Alaska. Nature did not cooperate, but eventually they got their end on July 13.
In summary: the men have on average traveled 2,200 kilometers per day (with the help of a bit of marching powder?). Just stop for much needed entertainment to South American whores (usually the favorite pastime of middle-aged Germans there) sat for Zietlow et al not so here. Tag a dull, but they are able put the old record by three days to tighten. They have also made their contribution to the local economy by 10 cents per mile to donate to a poor South American town.
